| Welcome charter and party boat
operators! |
|
MBMB
Productions is offering you an opportunity to share your
local knowledge with our amazing group of show attendees!
A special area has been put side just for you. We all
know how tough things are and this is a great chance to
present your services for FREE!
Who is eligible?
Anyone with
a New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut licensed charter,
party boat, or guide operation. Please, this must be a
currently ACTIVE business. We have limited space and
we want to make it as productive as possible for all the
participants. MBMB Productions reserves to right to
approve or decline any application.
What are
my responsibilities?
You need to
show up at the START of the show and spend as much time as
possible answering questions from the show visitors.
There will probably be competing businesses in the same area
and we expect everyone to behave professionally. We
realize that many of you work other jobs on Friday and may
not be able to be there. We do expect everyone to
attend on Saturday and Sunday. Anyone who cannot be
respectfully will be asked to leave.
Can I
book charters?
Of course
you can, but that should not be your only goal. Few
anglers books trips at this time of year. They are
much more likely to get familiar with you and your operation
and then make a call when the season starts. This is a
great opportunity to collect their contact information so
you can reach out to them after the show.
What do I
get from you?
We provide
you with piece of table space for you to display some of
your favorite gear and layout any literature you may have.
Each captain will be provided with a sign describing their
business and port of call. You also get one exhibitor
pass that allows you free entry into the show each day.
What do I
need to bring?
Bring a
couple of your favorite outfits (rods and reels) and a good
selection of fishing tackle. Visitors will want to see
what you use and how you use it. If you have hats or
shirts with your business name on them, wear them!
Bring any literature you would like to hand out.
How is
the area set up?
There will
many tables, each shared by 2-3 captains. Whenever
possible, captains from competing ports will not be near
each other. There will be chairs behind the tables and
you will be able to store additional gear and literature
under and behind the table.
How much
does it cost?
It is FREE!
We just want you to remember to tell all your charter
clients to come and visit you at the show! Please help
us to help you!
